Thrilling Thursday- “The Creative Process”

People love to know about process.
Well, I was cutting up colored paper the other day because that’s what people
like me do to calm their nerves. After my nerves were calmed I made
another cup of coffee, gathered up the scraps and noticed one bit of paper
looked rather “sea serpent” like. I added some white out and colored
markers (plus a little-very little- Photoshop help) and there we have
a sea monster! A few (four-five) cups of coffee and scissors. That’s how I create.

Thrilling Thursday Children’s Art

I am working on my second children’s book that won’t be out
til…well, some time next year I would guess. In the mean time,
here are some sketches of said book I can share. Some houses and
yes, a pirate. You see, you can never have TOO many children’s
books featuring pirates. Look it up. It’s a fact.

Copra Fan Art

As you all no doubt know, Copra has taken Europe, Korea and most of America,
by storm! If you haven’t heard, Copra is a homage, love letter, kiss-o-gram
and or any other metaphor you feel best describes the expressive cartoon
story telling that Michel Fiffe is putting out on a monthly basis all
on his own. I don’t want to step on Fiffe’s coat tails to hard, but
below is a fan sketch I did of Gracie and Dy Dy from said book. You

said book which is ON SALE NOW! Go get one! It kind of freaks me out.
